Country Park visitor/Education Centres (except for some indoor facilities of Lions Nature Education Centre in Sai Kung) are reopened. When entering the above facilities, visitors should observe infection control measures including using the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app, showing “Vaccine Pass” QR codes, wearing their own masks, undergoing temperature checks, and cleaning their hands with hand sanitiser. Meanwhile, the country park school and public education programmes will remain suspended and all country park barbecue sites and campsites will continue to be closed until further notice. Please refer to the AFCD's website (www.afcd.gov.hk) for the opening hours of Country Park Visitor / Education Centres. The AFCD reminds country park visitors to maintain personal and environmental hygiene and social distancing. Visitors should properly dispose of used masks and waste and take their litter home. |

From 7:00am to 7:00pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays for the period between 4.12.2021 and 16.1.2022, the Transport Department will implement special traffic arrangements on the section of Tai Tong Shan Road between the Pavilion and Tai Tong Shan Road Car Park. Actual implementation of road closure, traffic diversion and traffic control measures will be made by Police officers on site at the time depending on the traffic and crowd situation. The above-mentioned measures may affect people going to Tai Lam Country Park. Farmland rehabilitation within private lots in Yi O Kau Tsuen and Yi O San Tsuen is in progress, the land owners do not allow unauthorized access to those villages. The affected sections of Lantau Trail Section 7 passing through those villages will be diverted. Visitors who wish to come and go to Fan Lau, Kau Ling Chung or Tai O are advised to choose alternative routes as shown on the maps at scene. Map |
