Comprising the Twins South and the Twins North, the Twins is part of the first section of the Wilson Trail. Those who cannot wait to scale the Twins South at 386 metres for the sights of the Stanley Peninsula, which stretches to the south, are recommended to take the quickest route by starting at Stanley Gap Road and finishing it in one go. One of the highlights is the three-storey Victorian-era architecture Murray House, which was constructed in 1846 as a quarters for the British Officers in Central and was relocated to Stanley in 1988 after being dismantled in 1982. Those who climb the Twins North, which is above the Tai Tam Reservoirs and the rolling hills, between October and January will even be greeted with Hong Kong Gordonia in bloom. Get ready to take photos of the hillside dotted with white-petalled and yellow-stamened flowers.
